All prices are displayed in Euros (€) and include Dutch VAT (21%) unless otherwise stated.
Prices are subject to change without notice, but changes will not affect orders already placed.
c) Product Descriptions
We strive to ensure product descriptions and images are accurate. However, we do not guarantee that descriptions, colors, or specifications are error-free or complete.
If you receive a product that does not match its description, you may return it under our Return Policy.

4. PLACING AN ORDER

5. PAYMENT
a) Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Shopify Payments (credit/debit cards)
- Mollie (iDEAL, credit cards, other local payment methods)
b) Payment Processing
Payments are processed securely by Shopify Payments and Mollie. We do not store full credit card details.
Payment is charged immediately upon order placement.
c) Currency
All transactions are processed in Euros (€).
d) Taxes
All prices include Dutch VAT (BTW) at the applicable rate (currently 21%).
For orders shipped outside the Netherlands, additional customs duties or import taxes may apply. These are the responsibility of the customer.

6. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

a) Shipping Rates
- Netherlands: €4.95 flat rate
- Free shipping on orders over €50
b) Processing Time
Orders are processed within 1-2 business days.
c) Delivery Time
- Netherlands: 5-8 business days (up to 10 business days during peak periods)
- Other EU countries: 7-12 business days
- International: 10-20 business days
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or force majeure events.
d) Risk of Loss
Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier.

7. RETURNS AND REFUNDS (DUTCH CONSUMER LAW)
a) 14-Day Cooling-Off Period (Bedenktijd)
Under Dutch consumer protection law (Wet Koop op Afstand), you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.
To exercise this right:
- Notify us within 14 days of delivery via email: returns@petsciety.com
- Return the product within 14 days of notifying us
- Product must be unused and in original packaging
We will refund the purchase price (including original shipping costs) within 14 days of receiving the returned product.
b) Extended 30-Day Return Policy
We offer an extended voluntary return period of 30 days from delivery.
Return conditions:
- Product must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging
- Proof of purchase required
- Contact returns@petsciety.com to initiate a return
c) Return Shipping Costs
- For 14-day cooling-off period: Customer pays return shipping (unless product is defective or incorrect)
- For voluntary returns (days 15-30): Customer pays return shipping
d) Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned for hygiene or safety reasons:
- Products removed from sealed packaging (if applicable)
- Personalized or custom-made items
e) Defective or Incorrect Products
If you receive a defective or incorrect product, contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@petsciety.com.
We will provide a prepaid return label and issue a full refund or replacement.
f) Refund Processing
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned product.
Depending on your bank, it may take 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
